Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

This holiday season has been both a blessing and a challenge. On December 16th Mikes dad passed away suddenly. The funeral and burial were that same week. It was a long week but one blessed with much family time. Please be in prayer for Mikes mom and the family. Christmas Eve was at the Herbert/Peterson home. Christmas eve has been celebrated there for the past 85 years. It was nice to be around family, fill ourselves with good food, and enjoy the Christmas season. Christmas day we went down to the house in Marseilles. Mike did some painting and I worked on the floors. The kids enjoyed playing in their new room and exploring thier new house. In the evening we went to Mikes brothers house and had our family gift exchange. It was a whirlwind couple of days. On Wednesday we went to Lafayette IN to have luch with my sister. As the new year approaches I am packing up the house and getting ready to move. Mike has taken Ben and his mom for a visit to Ohio. I must admit its kinda weird to only have one child to worry about. Allison is loving having mama all to herself, but she keeps looking for Papa and Ben.
