December is quickly passing

December has decended upon us. We have been busy. We closed on our new house on Nov 30th. Now we are doing some work on it before we move in. We have resigned from our Town Homes job effective January 31. So by Feb we should be in our new place!!!!!! We are having the place painted, and some other minor things taken care of. We are very excited. We are looking forward to exploring Marseilles and the surrounding areas.


We went to Ottowa last week and saw the coolest painting display. It was a display that covered the life of Christ from birth to death. There was a sign there telling people that the display was not funded by the city but was put up by a private organization. The sign gave the information on how you could apply for your own display.


Ben helped us take up the carpet tacks at the new house. He loved checking out the tools and seeing how they work.

Allison loves having so much room to crawl and practice her walking. Here she is coming out of the bedroom that the kids are going to share once we move.

For Christmas this year I wanted the kids to make something they could give as gifts. I found a nice recipie for Christmas ornaments that the kids could use cookie cutters with. We had a lot of fun making our own ornaments!! Allison loves to be involved in everything we do. Ben loves making stuff, cookies, ornaments, pancakes, you name it he will try to make it with you.

I tried making a video of the kids with my Kodak camera. Im not sure how this will work but I will try to have it on this blog. This is my first try with this kind of thing.
