Farewell Evanston

On January 31 in a snowstorm we left Evanston with our car load of stuff and officailly moved to Marseilles. Our new address is 380 Washington, Marseilles IL 61341. We love our new house and all of the space we have here. We also just love the town. The people are very nice and helpful. Tomorrow we go to our first visit to the Marseilles Library Preschool Story and Craft Hour. Hopefully we will meet some new families that we can set up play dates with. As we left Evanston we sadly had to say goodbye to many playmates.

Below is a picture of Ben playing with En. They barely were still long enough for us to get a picture. The little ones, Allison and Min had no intention of being still and letting either mama get a shot of them.

That same Wednesday was our last visit to the Evanston Vineyard Playgroup. We have been going almost every week since last March. Ben really misses play group and has been asking about when we are going to his playgroup.

Here are Ben and Luke being Pirates!

Ben and Riley are fixing a truck

Ben and Dylan are being silly with playdough I pray we meet some new buddies soon for my dear boy who misses running around once a week with BOYS. Allison did join us at playgroup but was seldome still enough there to get a pictures or she was on mama's hip.

The week before our big move Jacob came to play.
Both boys had a great time!
Ben talked about it the rest of the week.

The very blustery Saturday before our move we finally got over to see Ian and Cullen, two more buddies we miss. Here the boys are in a cave. Ben has taken this idea and now uses the cabinet under the sink as his cave. Mama doesnt even try to store cleaning supplies there, she knows right now its important for Ben and Allison to have as much of the house as possible for playing in.

We also were able to visit with our fiend Jayme and her twins Isaih and Isabelle. They were so sweet to play with. Mama forgot her camera unfortunately so no pictures.

We also saw Miss Tammy and her two youngest Larissa and Glendi. Glendi loved Allison and Allison to her credit liked playing with Glendi. Again mama forgot her camera and sadly has no pictures of the sweet play that went on between the kids.

So while we miss our friends in Evanston we are looking forward to meeting new people in Marseilles and makeing new friendships. We will not forget our Evanston buddies though and hope to visit them. We have joined a church here. We are attending the Illinois Valley Evangelical Free Church. There are many homeschooling families there. Also a few kids Ben and Allison's age so more potential for friends.

My darlings are waking from thier nap. Praise God both napped for at least two hours today. That makes for happy kids and happy mama.
