March Madness

March has come and with it Praise God some nice weather. We can finally get outside to play!!!!!! Just at the beginning of March I bought the kids their first water color paints. Of course if I get one for Ben darling Allison must have one too and then she has to try it out. Ben spent maybe an hour painting and experimenting with the water and the paint. Allison worked for a few minutes then decided to go off and build with blocks. She loves to build these days. She can build a tower of 7 blocks before they fall down. Papa likes to sit and build with her in the evenings and the Princess just soaks up Papa's attention. Both kids are really into coloring on paper with crayons and pencils. They have learned to go to the desk and get paper and pencils and draw there. Its very cute to see their two little selves next to eachother drawing away. The first warm day of March we spent the afternoon outside. I put together the climber in the back yard and fixed up the bike trailer to be a stroller. It doesnt seem like I will be doing much biking this spring and summer. Anyway the kids had a blast going down the slide into the mud that is our yard right now. They found every mud puddle on near our house and splashed around. They were covered in MUD. At dinner time I dragged them into the house and deposited them in the bath tub. They had almost as much fun getting clean as they did getting dirty. It was a wonderful day! Ben is starting to ask to play outside in the afternoon and Allison brings you your shoes and tells you to go. They love the outdoors which works for me and for Papa. I cant wait to get a garden started this spring and grow some yummy vegatables. I also cant wait to grow some flowers with the kids. Next week I plan to help them start some seeds in an egg carton so they have flowers to transfer once the weather is nice enough. Over the next few weeks I should have plenty of pictures and stuff to post about. Ben will be three on Thursday then we head to Ohio for Mikes Grandmothers 90th birthday. Then comes Good Friday and Resurection Sunday. The following weekend is the combined birthday party for the cousins Rieko and Noriko. Im not sure when we will have the family over for Ben's birthday at this rate. Oh well it will happen when it happens. More Soon I hope.
