The Family in Ohio

While in Ohio we try to take advantage of seeing family. Most of my family is there still and Mike has a bunch too. So the first stop is to see Mike's grandma in Willoughby. We had lunch at one of our favorite places the Willoughby Brewing Company. The link is here; http://www.willoughbybrewing.com/. When in Cleveland we love it. They have a train that runs along the cealing that Ben loves. Mike likes their beer. And I love thier honey chicken salad.

After lunch and naps on Saturday Mike and his dad went back to Chicago. I stayed overnight with the kids at Grandma's. We got to go to dinner with Uncle Tom and Aunt Norma. The kids loved the soup and salad bar. And were just angels for me. On Sunday morning I took the kids to visit my brother John and his two cats. John and I laughed at old photos of the family and had coffee. John found some cool toys for Ben to play with. His two cats, Ryder and Challa decided to hide for most of the visit (I don't blame them). The kids mostly Allison arn't very gentle. After visiting John we traveled down the steet to see cousin Barry and his kids. We had a great visit!!!!!!! Cousin Chad was a big hit. He played the banjo and Ben played the guitar.

Allison loved the music. She had to get in on the action.

After all the fun we loaded up the car and headed back to Chicago. The kids were amazng for the drive home. Allison had only one melt down and was able to calm down after a few minutes of nursing while we got gas. We even got to stop at Mike's moms favorite outlet mall for a few minutes. We got there just before closing time and got to shop for a few minutes.

We got home at about 10 pm and both kids even slept through the night just fine. We had a great trip and I cant wait to get on the road again to visit more family.
